Thursday letters: Pray for Charleston, give thanks for peace
In a Charleston church, innocent people were gunned down. Such a tragedy in a beautiful town. But South Carolina can be proud that we have a peaceful, loving crowd. No rioting, stealing, destroying public places; just holding hands and praying with all races.
We will never forget that tragic day when hate took special lives away. The person responsible will answer for the crime.
So now we must try to comfort those left behind and ask God to bless them and our state, a special kind.
