Tuesday letters: Government destroying next generation

Last century we had the greatest generation. This century has started off with the downgrade generation or degeneration generation. The problem actually started in the latter part of the last century, and it happened because government from local through the federal, executive, legislative and judicial have allowed it to happen. In fact most politicians have not only allowed it to happen they have supported and encouraged it. Because of that, our young people are confused and rudderless in the storms of life.

The loss of freedoms, the bending of truth, the destruction of principles and morals are not just the results of the governments’ misguided actions. This is and has been their intent for a long time.

If there ever were victims of government, the downgrade generation is one. Members of this generation are also the only ones left to fix it, and the answers lie in the past. Some things as truth just never go out of style — even when not used or when shunned for political motives.
