Thursday letters: Cell phones key to SC highway deaths
I believe the state Transportation Department ads for Target Zero are firing blanks. It’s one thing to talk about reducing traffic deaths and another to actually do something to achieve the goal. Until South Carolina forbids cell phone use while driving and enforces the anti-texting law, deaths and injuries will continue apace. Such a law might serve also to reduce road rage.
