Thursday letters: Confederate flag once would have honored dead
The sad irony of the tragedy in Charleston is that if the Confederate flag had stayed atop the State House, rightfully beneath our national and state flags, it would have been lowered to half-mast to honor the victims rather than remaining at the top of its pole on our capitol’s front lawn.
