Letters: Lindsey Graham should give up military pension
I would like to thank Sen. Lindsey Graham for all he has done to keep the military bases in South Carolina. But what he did and what he will receive for his time in the U.S. Air Force Reserves is disgraceful.
He got special consideration on promotions; he was rewarded for helping the military. He was listed as teaching at the JAG School in Alabama but was never there; no, he did not get paid, but it made his record look good. He said he was “one hell of a judge advocate.” But if he were to act like one and examine his time, promotions and pension, he would say this case could be prosecuted as fraud.
Sen. Graham is always pushing more boots on the ground. He should donate his $2,773-per-month military pension to the Wounded Warrior Fund forever.
