Letters: Burn bright, Fireflies, but don’t burn out

I was amused to read that after receiving more than 2,000 responses, officials decided to name the new local baseball team the Fireflies. One can picture the baseball players out there flitting around in the outfield, their tails burning brightly.

But what chance will they have against a team with a real baseball name, like the River Dogs? Good luck, Fireflies.
