Letters: Move beyond the darkness of abortion, chaos

TNS

If I say abortion is murder and you are hurt, there is a spark of something human in you. But if I say abortion is murder and you are not hurt, something in you is broken. Some part of you has been lost to the chaos that surrounds us. How can humans who care more for their dog than their neighbors ask the questions?

I hope and pray that I never lose the spark that awakens in me when I see a baby smile. All is not lost yet; there is still a chance we can move to a less dark place from a very dark place where policemen are murdered because of who they are. A place where Martin Luther King’s dream can come true and we can all live in God’s grace and not chaos.
