Letters: SC Highway Patrol should rethink Williams-Brice Stadium traffic

Pre-game traffic on Bluff Road from I-77 to Williams-Brice Stadium is not being handled well. It took us two hours to get from I-77 to Armory Road. Four lanes were open in that direction, but the far left lane was barely moving. Why? There were cones in the lane, forcing everyone to merge into the third lane, at the same time people were merging from the second lane into the third to make the left turn. Why would the the Highway Patrol open four lanes only to close one near the stadium? It is ridiculous.
