Letters: After the flood: Every silver lining has a cloud

Gov. Nikki Haley said on Tuesday that “God smiled on South Carolina because the sun is (finally) out.”

Considering the mass destruction, suffering, loss of life and property, one might well wish he had never frowned in the first place.
