Editor’s note: An earlier version of this letter incorrectly attributed it to a different writer.

In light of Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney’s professed Christian faith, I was surprised and dismayed when he said there was such a demand for Notre Dame-Clemson tickets that he doubted Jesus could get one (“Clemson’s biggest game ever? It’s Notre Dame!” Oct 3).

If Jesus had wanted to attend the Notre Dame-Clemson game, I am sure that he could have gotten into the game without a ticket and that he could have sat wherever he wanted to sit. Shame on you, Dabo.
