Letters: SC State Fair should be canceled or postponed

Please, please cancel or at least postpone the State Fair. We don’t need additional heavy traffic in this area in the wake of these floods. Roads are still clogged with commuters taking detours, and flood damage to the streets has still not been assessed. Our police also have more important things to do than direct traffic to an annual event. Please, whoever makes the call: Show some common sense and set priorities.
