Monday letters: So many people deserve thanks

I would like to thank all the agencies that helped during this horrendous floods. I would especially like to thank those individuals with their own personal watercraft who helped many families out of their homes when officials were not available. They are to be applauded. They saved many lives.

And to the neighborhood families who offered their homes for shelter, many thanks.
