Letters: We can’t let Spurrier go homeless

What is all this fuss about Steve Spurrier getting $1.3 million for doing nothing until the end of the year? It’s not as if he just quit his job.

Oh, wait: That’s just what he did.

Well, never mind; the poor fellow is obviously hard up for a dollar or two, and we would not like for him and his family to become homeless.

Wait: Perhaps he could go and stay with athletic director Ray Tanner or USC President Harris Pastides.
