Letters: Job-killing regulations? Really?

As we continue our recovery, I hope state legislators and people in general will remember that a month ago dam inspectors were “government waste preying on the honest taxpayers.” The rules they tried to enforce were “job-killing regulations.” We were proud of how far we had cut them since the 1990s.

Next time it won’t likely be dam safety but some other essential but under-appreciated government service that we will wish we hadn’t cut so far.
