Letters: Parents to blame when students misbehave

The incident at Spring Valley High School was the result of a student with a lousy attitude toward authority.

This bad attitude is a product of the lack of parenting. Goodness is taught at home. Morales, values and respect are taught at home and in the church.

Enough already. There are actually students who want to learn something in class, and if a disruptive student persists, the school should call her parents, remove her and send her to a school for delinquents.

Police are not the problem. Teachers are not the problem. Parents of unruly students are the problem. Change the attitudes, and you’ll change the results.
