The Spring Valley High School student was completely out of line and complicit in what looks to me like a planned and flagrant scam against authority. It looks to me like a select few students were ready with cameras to record the confrontation and post it online to discredit authority.

The deputy did what he had to do after the student resisted the orders of the teacher and assistant principal.

Where is the community support for the teacher? Where are this student’s parents? And why did the TV stations play the videos over and over and over?

Sheriff Leon Lott had no business assuming the officer’s guilt by firing him.
