Letters: Who really turned the desk over?

It did not look to me like the Spring Valley student was thrown across the room. My impression was that when the deputy attempted to remove her from her desk, a light-weight piece of furniture easily turned over. Who knows? Maybe her leg was hooked around the leg of the desk.

It appears that she was not going to give until she got exactly the result she got. I believe she programmed this event. I feel sure that her lawsuit will be loud, proud and enormously enriching, and the school, law enforcement and taxpayers will be punished.

I hope she will not be rewarded financially for her behavior. If so, schools are going to be in need of more school resource officers, and education will pay a terrific cost.
