Letters: Young people making us proud with generosity

In the past month I have had four offers from young people to help unload my trunk at the Ball Park Trash Facility in Lexington.

I am gracious in accepting, thanking them and adding: “Please thank your parents for raising a kind, thoughtful person.” So I was not surprised that some of these same young people worked so hard after the floods helping us get our lives back.
