Letters: Musician is an inspiration to all

It touched my heart reading the hardship Joe Bates had to endure since a childhood accident that claimed all of his fingers, never giving up on his dream for music (“He still feels the music,” Nov. 8).

God blessed him and gave him inspiration to keep on keeping on. God bless Robert Arthur, the gentleman who reached out to him. Keep up the good work, Joe, and keep believing in yourself and God. Bless you.
