For those of us who at one time or another have had to face hard facts about our finances and tighten our belts, the continuous path our government is taking on giving away our hard-earned tax dollars has hit a new low with the announcement by Secretary of State John Kerry that the United States is going to lend another $500 million to Tunisia because this country, which most of us never heard of, has decided to form a democratic government.

We never learned our lesson from trying to force democracy down the throat of Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan by sending them billions of dollars. The leaders of these countries have been caught stealing our money again and again, and yet good old Uncle Sam keeps sending more money for these crooks to steal.

I am losing all faith in our government. The United States is hated by the people of these countries, yet we borrow money to send them. The citizens of our country don’t seem to count anymore.
