Letters: Swinney always outclassed Spurrier

How refreshing it has been to always hear and read of Clemson Coach Dabo Swinney acknowledging positively the efforts and accomplishments of Clemson’s opposing teams. What a contrast this is to the arrogant putdowns former South Carolina Coach Steve Spurrier accorded his opponents.

Apparently Coach Spurrier never realized that true character is shown by being not only a good loser but also a good winner. He can’t handle either.
