Letters: Trump trying to protect America
Our esteemed governor blasted Donald Trump’s thoughts on limiting immigration as “unAmerican and unconstitutional.” These assertions are patently false. What could be more pro-Amemrican than trying to keep out those who would try to destroy this great nation? As for constitutionality, the Immigration and Naturalization Act allows the United States to limit or curtail immigration of certain undesirables. Jimmy Carter invoked it during the Iran crisis in 1979.
