Monday letters: SC Rep Chris Corley not fit to govern

It’s wonderful to know that despite the horrendous damage and deaths caused by the flood of the century, the large numbers of uninsured, our pathetic history of fair (not Fox fair) support of education and the run-away sale-any-way-you-want-them of assault weapons, we have a state representative who is fixated on getting the Virginia racist hate flag returned to the State House. I suppose we should be grateful that he finds spending more than $5 million of our tax money for a shadow box and background display for the flag excessive.

His colleagues who voted to remove the flag from the State House grounds got Christmas cards wishing them to go to hell and to repent their sin.

My suggestion to Rep. Chris Corley is that he resign and return the seat to an adult who can see the big picture, which he obviously doesn’t care about at all. Then he should recruit Donald Trump to join him and his racist friends to raise the $5 million for the flag.
