Letters: A Christmas miracle at the post office?

I had just dropped several items into a mailbox outside the main post office on Assembly Street when a young man bagged up the contents and carried them inside to be sorted.

When I realized I had mistakenly included a prescription I had just picked up, I returned to the post office and tracked down the young man who had taken my mail; he asked me to wait while he tried to locate my prescription. After 20 minutes, he returned with my envelope.

It reminded me the miracles we never hear about.

The birth of God’s only begotten son, Jesus, is the reason for the season, and our only hope; all things are possible with God.

May everyone have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year. And thanks to the Columbia post office for the extraordinary job it does.
