Letters: Lexington planners created traffic mess
There would be no need for digital cameras to speed traffic flow through Lexington if planners had learned the lessons of their forefathers, who kept traffic moving along U.S. 1 by putting the road to access parking lots behind the stores, which had rear entrances.
Had planners built roads and parking behind the stores along U.S. 378 with an overpass for locals to get to the other side, people would enjoy going through Lexington a lot more.
