Monday letters: Richland County Council misleading public

So, the Richland County Council has misplaced hundreds of thousands of transportation sales tax dollars and doesn’t know where to find them. The council members were “surprised” and “unaware” that anything was amiss.

They are either lying or clueless. Corrupt or inept. This cabal is doing its best to imitate Mayor Steve Benjamin and his Columbia Keystone Cops Council.

Do we want a government that considers our trust inconsequential, something to be tossed into the lime green Herby Curby, just to be recycled at election time? If you are happy with the way you are being discounted and disrespected by this hoard of hustlers, then re-elect them. If not, ask SLED to swiftly investigate and prosecute these titans of turpitude.
