Letters: Lots of people welcome Trump to SC

So York Rep. John King introduced a resolution saying that Donald Trump is not welcomed in South Carolina because a Muslim woman was asked to leave his rally. She attended not to listen to what Mr. Trump had to say but to cause a distraction.

Hundreds of people really wanted to hear the speech but could not get in. This woman’s behavior was rude. I would love to question Hillary Clinton about allegations that she tried to intimidate women who claimed abuse by President Clinton, but I would never be rude enough to disrupt her rally.

Mr. King does not represent the multitude of hard-working South Carolinians who like Mr. Trump and want to hear him speak. He demonstrates how out of touch politicians have become, and why so many people are endorsing non-traditional candidates.

I welcome Mr. Trump to South Carolina, and so do a lot of other people.
