Monday letters: Tigers’ guts covered the spread

B.Y.O.G. paid off for the Clemson Tigers in the national championship game with Alabama. They easily could have given up and hung their heads after Alabama’s final score. But with little time on the clock and the game virtually lost, they battled back for one more score.

Although they lost the game, betting Tiger fans with a six-point spot won, and the Alabama betting fans lost. A small consolation prize.
