Letters: Obama shows what we don’t need in a president
The people running for the highest office in the land should have integrity, honesty and the sophistication to lead this country.
We don’t need another president who says he wants to unite the country then divides us.
We don’t need a president who draws red lines in the sand against tyrants and terrorists and then does nothing.
We don’t need another president who will go golfing or to a fundraiser the day after a tragedy.
We don’t need a president who will make up our minds for us, leaving the government to dictate what is good or bad for us.
We don’t need a president who will get involved only with people of color.
We also don’t need a president who will jump to conclusions about our protectors in law enforcement who have been accused of criminal acts before the evidence is in.
We don’t need another self-absorbed narcissist who would trivialize the death of an ambassador.
We don’t need a president who doesn’t support our Second Amendment right to protect ourselves.
What we do need as president is a person who adheres to our Constitution, upholds the laws of our country and works in the best interest of our people.
