I was waiting to get my hair cut when someone walked in wearing Clemson garb. I started pulling his chain about Clemson. He looked familiar, so I asked his name, and he said Brandon. Are you Brandon Streeter, I asked the former Clemson quarterback and current assistant. He looked stunned for a moment, and then a big cheesy grin appeared.

I could tell he was in a hurry, so I told him to take my place in line. He hesitated but then accepted. He said he was on his way to Atlanta for recruiting. I told him to leave some of the good players for USC.

When I got up to leave, the girls told me Brandon had paid for my haircut. Nice guy, that Brandon Streeter. I may pull for Clemson a little more now. I am going to pay it forward — maybe even to a Clemson fan. Clemson has a jewel in Brandon Streeter.

See, USC fans, there are some nice Clemson people out there. Just open our eyes. We can exist together. Do your part.
