Letters: Walmart’s exits are as bad as its entrances

Walmart needs to do our small towns all across America a favor and demolish the big boxes it has abandoned, recycle all the materials and replace the buildings with parks.

It’s bad enough that the retail giant shut down all the mom-and-pop businesses, but now it is leaving its big boxes on the side of the road for all to see, and providing us a constant reminder of its destruction to our communities.
