Letters: Trump is Obama on steroids

S.C. Republicans and many independents have voiced their concern over the past seven years about a narcissistic president who believed he was always the smartest person in the room and had no need for the Congress or the Constitution.

I’m now amazed to see their support for the Donald, a New York loudmouth with an identical attitude — on steroids. Add to this his threat of a trade war with China and Japan (remember another successful businessman, Herbert Hoover?), questionable temperament and infantile tantrums against his opponents, complete lack of governing experience, admitted pro-choice position and admiration of fellow bullies such as Vladimir Putin.

Let’s think again about what we are recommending to the rest of the country.
