Letters: Next president needs common sense

I’m not looking for grandiose promises or hysterical rhetoric, no matter how entertaining, but honesty, integrity and old-fashioned common sense with a proven record of outstanding accomplishment despite impossible odds. There are only two candidates for president, of either party, who come close to filling that bill: Jeb Bush and John Kasich, I’m leaning toward Kasich.
