If Bernie Sanders worked for a company with a union but he refused to join and pay his dues to negotiate better contracts, hire attorneys and educate the members in how to get ahead and defend themselves, he would be a free rider.

As a politician, Bernie Sanders is a free rider, and he is trying to hijack the Democratic Party. He did not become a Democrat until 2015, and now he wants to make the Democratic Party the Socialist Party, with him as the nominee.

Democrats finally purged the party of socialist leaders, and have convinced people that they govern in a capitalistic society to the benefit of not only the wealthy, as Republicans do, but everyone. Bernie Sanders should not run on the Democratic Party ticket.
