Letters: Clinton is worse than Trump

Hillary Clinton

I am a proud and unashamed conservative whose first choice for president was Ben Carson, second Marco Rubio, third Ted Cruz. To me, Donald Trump is a carnival barker whose job is to stir interest, gather crowds, then get out of the way. One of the last things this country needs is a self-absorbed, egomaniacal buffoon like Trump. We’ve had eight years of that already. But — and this is a big “but” — we need Hillary Clinton even less.

What’s really scary is that at least 40 percent of this nation will vote for her regardless of her legal status, regardless of what she has been charged with, unless she has already been indicted (and there’s not much chance of that during the Obama administration).

What a proud day it will be when our newly elected president’s first act in office is to pardon herself and halt an FBI investigation.
