Letters: Death by Russian roulette is no accident

MCT

It is flat-out wrong to call any death by Russian roulette “accidental” as was done in the Feb. 5 article, “Authorities say Lancaster man died playing Russian roulette for a gun.”

The deceased deliberately bet his life to win the very pistol he used. While someone can be foolish enough to be goaded into playing Russian roulette, he still knows full well that what he is doing could result in his demise. To proceed is just plain stupid.

Anyone who puts a pistol to his head and pulls the trigger proves that the saying “You can’t fix stupid” is a cold, hard fact.
