Monday letters: USC’s Moore School of Business moving up in risk management

U.S. News & World Report released its top 10 insurance and risk management schools in January, and USC’s College of Risk Management and Insurance received honorable mention at No. 11. On Feb. 3, the Darla Moore School of Business announced the hiring of Robert Hartwig, world-renowned economist and insurance expert, who will serve as a professor and co-director of the Moore School’s Risk and Uncertainty Management Center.

The Darla Moore School is to be commended for landing such an esteemed professional. USC’s College of Risk Management and Insurance will soon be recognized as one of the premier insurance institutions of higher learning in the country.
