Letters: Will Trump treat US like first wife?

The United States is like one big family. The next president should be very aware of this.

One of the candidates for president threw away his first wife for a younger woman. If elected, will he throw the United States of America under the bus when he gets tired of dealing with our many differences and issues? Money isn’t everything, and neither is profit.

To care for a family, one needs compassion, empathy, wisdom, direction and discipline — much of which this mouthy candidate for president does not have. Save the clowns for the circus, please.
