I am tired of hearing that current procedures are not protecting our country, and we need a wall and other drastic measures to keep us safe. I do not think any of the few terrorist incidents that have occurred here would have been prevented by any of the suggested methods.

The World Trade Center was attacked from the air, and the two brothers in Boston and the couple in California were radicalized through the internet. More people have been killed in school shootings, job revenge, drug deals and road rage than through foreign terrorism.

There will always be copycats, and a wall will not stop that. Something more modern like better satellite surveillance surely could be devised with the billions of dollars needed for the wall. Simply hiring and equipping more border agents would be a good first step.
