Letters: USC basketball players blew their chance

Once again some of the favored few may have blown a golden opportunity. The few USC men’s basketball players acting like undisciplined children may well have forfeited their scholarships and, unless they drastically change their thought processes, their hoped-for basketball futures.

Their former teammates and competitors would have given anything to be offered the chance those young men were given but came up a little short on talent or ability. What a waste.

For anyone else thinking of acting so foolishly, I am reminded of the song lyrics, “what ’ya gonna do when they come for you?”
