Monday letters: Keep government out of my driving choices
I am always amazed at how easy some folks are willing to give up their freedom (“Three ways to reduce S.C. traffic deaths,” April 3).
I do not need to ask permission of Big Brother for every choice or decision I make. If I choose to talk (not text) on my cell phone while I’m driving or not wear my helmet or not wear my seat belt, it should not be the government’s business or anybody’s but mine.
We are losing more freedom every day. I choose to keep mine.
