Gov. Nikki Haley said she cried for the poor nine folks at the A.M.E. church in Charleston, but has she ever cried for the 25,000 men who gave their lives defending South Carolina — whom the Confederate flag and Soldier Monument honor?

All those soldiers asked was to be remembered so that future generations would understand the price of freedom from invasion, duty to their state and honor, courage and sacrifice. Gov. Francis Pickens would have Nikki Haley’s head for what she did to sully the honor and sacrifice of more than a quarter of the men in South Carolina. Shame upon her.
