Letters: Haley can’t handle the power she has
Why should we even consider adding to our absentee governor’s portfolio when it is obvious that there is little attention being given to those agencies that are already in her Cabinet? Recall the computer problems, the cronyism at DHEC and now questions by our elected representatives about her management at the Department of Juvenile Justice.
She remains masterful at quickly diverting attention to other matters rather than accepting her failure to manage effectively the executive aspects of her office. Perhaps we should consider a real and present CEO before adding any additional responsibilities to this one.
