Letters: Islamophobia? You bet, and with good reason

An April 22 article described a panel discussion of the evils of “Islamophobia.” Do I fear Islam? Definitely, and with good reason. It is a threat to America’s religions and culture. Muslims do not assimilate. A Turkish prime minister told a large group of Muslims in Germany a few years ago that they could not be expected to assimilate because “Assimilation is a crime against humanity.”

Of course, as a Christian I am not included as a member of humanity. Infidels are monkeys and pigs and should be converted to Islam or killed. Islam is a vicious, aggressive political ideology. Islamic culture and ideology have no place in America.
