Letters: Grading change brings Lake Wobegon to SC

It is great to know the state Board of Education can make our students smarter. By simply changing the state’s grade scale, they make more students qualify for scholarships.

This is smoke and mirrors. It is like changing your speedometer to kilometers per hour and saying you are going faster. Next we should vote to change the definition of a pothole so our roads will improve at no cost.
