Letters: Bull Street fireworks a welcome addition

I disagree with the writer who suggested that the fireworks be toned down at the new Spirit Communications Park.

I live directly across Bull Street on Confederate Avenue and have no problem with the fireworks. One would expect there to be some noise associated with opening a new stadium in the heart of downtown, but it has hardly been a problem.

I am 54 years old and consider the Fireflies and the new park, and all that comes with it, a welcome addition to the livelihood of our emerging downtown area. After all, as they say, it is glow time. Fire away.
