On a beautiful April evening at sunset, I witnessed Camp Coble (homeless encampment) transformed into the Benjamin Amphitheater for the Performing Arts.

A fisherman shared the concert with a thousand Columbians on a bluff overlooking the Congaree River and historic Gervais Street Bridge.

Finally someone gets it.

Kudos Mayor Benjamin.
