Letters: Enforce speed limits or eliminate them

AP

I’m so glad to see that the House has voted to put up signs telling slow drivers to stay out of the left lane on interstates. Why do we even have speed limits? Cars are doing 80 mph or better, and I seldom see police on the interstates, let alone someone getting a ticket.

Cars come up on my bumper while I’m passing at almost 10 mph over the speed limit. They get aggressive and try to move you out of the lane. Many of them have legislative plates or police brotherhood stickers.

If we’re not going to enforce the maximum, do away with it.
