Letters: Trump is America’s last chance

If our “established Republicans” are successful in destroying Donald Trump, America will be at the mercy of a one-party system.

The Republicans have been intimidated and reduced to an assistant Democratic Party over the past 40 years.

Trump comes along and wins the approval of a disappointed and frightened majority of the primary people. He outlines problems that are destroying this great country.

Finally some Republicans come out of the closet and reveal that they would be better off with Hillary Clinton as president. They don’t want to or have the courage to get behind a plan to save and preserve our once-great nation.

People in government like Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham are hawkish on protecting borders of Middle Eastern countries but are dovish on our southern border. This must be remembered when these career politicians are up for re-election.

I am supporting Donald Trump. I could not care less about his “rough” edges in bringing the truth forward. I am no longer a Republican but a conservative.
