Letters: Trayvon Martin was no victim

No matter what Leonard Pitts Jr. says (“George Zimmerman takes a victory lap on a dead boy’s grave,” Sunday), Trayvon Martin is responsible for his own death. In the words of Trayvon’s girlfriend, he was delivering some “whoop ass.” While pounding a man’s head into the pavement, he got shot. Period.

Pitts and the rest of the Black Lies Matter (lies, not lives) movement are setting civil rights back years. To compare Trayvon Martin to Sam Hose is the stupidest thing he has ever written.

Even though I don’t agree with George Zimmerman selling his gun, it is his right. and while I am at it, it was the media that made George Zimmerman a white man instead of Latino. Hmmm, I wonder why that was.
